- One of the ducks died. I just went out this afternoon to check on them and the cayuga duck and strangled herself in the fence trying to reach some grass.
- Orrin is back in Ireland. He had the misfortune of having to fire someone at work while he was there, and now the guy is suing the company. So he's meeting with lawyers and giving a deposition or something tomorrow.
- Which means after a week and a half of having the boys "to myself" at my parents, I now really have them to myself. Guess I should have lobbied a little harder to have someone, anyone, join me on the drive up from Indiana with them.
Aunt Catherine, miraculously, knew I would need some activities for this dreary cold, wet, lonely time and sent some adorable puppet making kits, which occupied a good portion of the morning. Both Silas and Emmet enjoys making and playing with puppets. There are a few more to ma
ke, but I feel like i have to ration them out for the next few days. Though we do have lots of other Easter activities and toys provided by the Grandmas Easter baskets.- We went out for sushi last night to a new place nearby. It was pretty good, and because we sat at the hibachi grill the boys were entertained with flaming onion volanos, egg juggling, and sake squirting, for most of the meal. Not to mention our order of "mixed sushi, sahimi, and rolls for two" came served on a giant wooden boat, complete with working rudder, nets, and mini harpoon. Emmet ate nearly all the appetizer of potstickers. Silas had a few bites of seaweed from the miso soup, a piece of shrimp sushi, and piles of "hay" (grated diakon).

Three Weeks in Reverse
Sorry for the absence. We were away from home and visiting 3/4 of the readership here, so I didn't really think it necessary to update. Plus, we were having too much fun to be uplaoding pictures and typing. Now that we are back to the boring humdrum life up here in Minnesota, I thought I'd try to post a few pictures and tell a few tales of adventure, starting with the most recent.

The puppets look great! I'm glad the puppets weren't too messy or hard to put together!
Oh my goodness! The boys are getting so big!
