London in 300 words or less

Meek, mild-mannered Silas transforms into Superman, man of steel in the shelter of a Hyde Park telephone booth.

Orrin poses with a giant stuffed bear dressed as a Beefeater (the bear not Orrin).

Silas at the private execution site in the Tower of London, where 3 of Henry VIII's wives head's were caught on a pillow. The memorial on the site consists of a frosted glass pillow. Weird, but I don't know how you would mark such a gruesome place.

Bridget and Silas with a lion statue on Trafalgar Square. Thank goodness the camera was not shooting only moments before as Bridget nearly ripped the seat of her pants trying to climb up to the stupid statue.

Silas tries out a new/old style at the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Silas digs the fun house mirrors in the basement of the London Science Museum.

So we kind of fell down on the picture taking job this trip. Mostly, I look greasy and pissed off, Silas is sleeping or looking pissed off that he is STILL in the stroller, Orrin at least looks happy, but his eyes are closed in most of the photos. Still, that photo of Silas in the ruff, that was worth the whole trip right there.

That boy should be in show bidness - he is TOO cute not share with the world (am I biased? - NOOO!).
Sorry the London trip wasn't a little more fun - maybe your little family has outgrown roughing it in hostels - maybe it's time for a 3-star (or more) hotel...you only live once!
I'm sure Belgium will be fabulous, especially since you'll all have such great traveling companions! Thanks for sharing your adventures with us home-bodies...I like all your pictures...even the ones where you're greasy and looking pissed off!
