But I was reminded why we don't go out very often. Not so good food and crazy kids. I want to give them the experience of eating in public so they learn what's acceptable. And really they were quite good for about 1/2 an hour. So if we'd ordered right away and food came quickly, we would have been set. But by the time the food arrived they were lying across their chairs, and crawling under the table, and Reuben had scattered the loaf of bread as if he were feeding pigeons.
Oh well. Pre-dinner we were tracing polygons and flying kites at the beach. Post-dinner we were trampolining, playing Guess-Who, and practicing piano. Silas is a very determined and eager student. He's playing with both hands at the same time now, which he has been looking forward to since he started playing. Although, now he's asking when he's going to learn how to move his hands up and down the keyboard.
Reuben has gone to bed all week with out the MILK. 5 days to the 18 month mark and I think he'll be weaned. Sad, but he's still a great snuggler. And I will be happy to swap out these undergarments. Today was the first day I realized I didn't need to wear a nursing bra anymore.
