This reminds me of the stories you hear about having to boil water for your bath and setting up the big tub in the kitchen, near where the bread was baking and the laundry was drying, for warmth.We don't have a bathtub in the house at the moment, or rather we have one that is not connected to any plumbing. Emmet and Reuben dislike the shower so for their weekly washing they soak in the kitchen sink. So at least once a week all the dirty dishes get done, the sink, and the boys get a good scrubbing.

No I've never heard about Orrin and the garbage disposal.
