Leaving to go to book club at a friend house,
" Uncle Nathan is staying home to do my Dad's work."

Heading upstairs to take a nap,
"Are you going to sleep with me?"
"Is Uncle Nathan going to sleep with me?"
"Is Uncle Nathan going to sleep with you?"

"I'm strong Dad. I have big muscles. I can carry the babies home from the hospital."

Talking to me as i'm trying to break apart some frozen chicken thighs,
"Uncle Nathan can help you."
"That's ok, I don't want Uncle Nathan's help right now."
"Why not? He's a good boy."
