So far behind (!)
There are so many post I've been meaning to write lately, an account of our travel to West Cork with Orrin's parents (seals! island gardens! boats!), second hand stories from them about their trip to the Ukraine to meet up with William's uncle and cousins he's never met before (outhouses! detached kitchens!), our first harvest from our teeny tiny garden (white radishes! and the asparagus peas are blossoming in deep crimson!), our drive to the beaches of Southeast Ireland (sand!) our great deal from the car boot sale (an old double school bench for Silas, complete with holes for ink wells!), our three hour appointment to see the Ob-Gyn today (he kept apologizing that according to the ultrasound the baby is only 17 weeks, not 21 as the dates suggested, which means Nov 15, not October 22!), an ode to my mom on her birthday (Happy Birthday Mamsis!), but instead you'll have to settle for a crappy hard to read, parenthetical, run-on-sentence that I'm not proof reading or spell checking. Enjoy!

Hey Bridget-- My OB said that dating on the ultrasound gets less and less accurate as time goes on-- so a due date based on a 6 week u/s is the gold standard, but by 20 weeks its anyone's guess... don't know if that helps or not, but I wouldnt' give up on the October date just yet. Usually second babies quicken at about 16 weeks, if that helps.
Yea for October babies!
